Private jets have access to a much wider range of airports than commercial flights, including smaller, more convenient locations. They can land at international airports, domestic airports and even some private airstrips. However, the specific landing options depend on the size of the aircraft and runway requirements.
Wi-Fi is available on VistaJet flights.
Booking times can vary. For domestic trips, 24-48 hours might be sufficient, while international flights may require more notice, based on each country’s landing permit requirements.
While private jet travel is typically more expensive than first-class commercial tickets, it offers significant advantages in terms of time savings, privacy, flexibility and a significantly enhanced level of service. The cost can be more competitive when traveling with a group.
For domestic flights, a government-issued photo ID is typically sufficient. For international travel, you'll need a valid passport and other documents or visas might be required for entry. The VistaJet team will advise you on the specific requirements for your flight.
VistaJet welcomes pets on board with prior arrangement. In addition, its special VistaPet program is designed to ensure pets travel in comfort, with amenities and services tailored for animal passengers.
Security procedures for private travel are generally more streamlined than commercial flights. You can expect a quick ID check and baggage inspection. Private terminals (FBOs) handle these procedures efficiently, usually ensuring a smoother and less stressful pre-flight experience.
Private jets offer much more flexibility than commercial flights. Nonetheless, they must adhere to air traffic control requirements and airport operating hours. Some airports have nighttime restrictions.
Amenities can vary widely depending on the aircraft, and typically include comfortable wide seating, Wi-Fi and catering options. VistaJet provides a superior service that offers gourmet dining experiences, a curated wine selection and special programs for business, as well as children and pets on board.
You need to clear customs when flying internationally on a private jet. However, the process is typically much quicker and more convenient than at commercial airports. It is often handled at the private terminal (FBO) with minimal wait times.
