VistaJet continues European roadshow with strategic stop in Budapest, Hungary

Private aviation leader connects with Hungary’s innovation, economy and Central Europe’s rising global connectivity

VistaJet, the first and only global private aviation company and part of the Vista group, has completed the second stage of its 2025 Nordic and Eastern European roadshow in Budapest, spotlighting how flexible access to private aviation is empowering Hungary’s entrepreneurs, investors, and multinational firms to accelerate cross-border business.

Following a successful launch in Stockholm, the Budapest stop reinforced VistaJet’s message: private aviation is evolving beyond luxury — becoming a vital enabler of productivity, speed, and strategic growth in today’s competitive global economy.

Hungary is fast becoming a regional hub for technology, life sciences, automotive, and advanced manufacturing — attracting record levels of foreign direct investment. In 2024 alone, the country secured over €10 billion in FDI, with major expansions from South Korean, German, and Chinese firms. As global capital and talent flow into Hungary, business leaders are increasingly turning to flexible aviation solutions to meet the needs of cross-border expansion.

“Hungarian companies are playing on a bigger stage — and they need aviation partners who can match their ambition, “Our Program membership delivers guaranteed access to long-range aircraft without the financial or operational burden of ownership — enabling founders, boards, and investors to move faster, farther, and smarter. ”

Strategic location, global reach

Hungary’s central position in Europe makes Budapest a critical junction between East and West. From the capital, clients can fly non-stop with VistaJet’s fleet to global business centers including Dubai, Singapore, London, and New York, avoiding connections and maximizing working time. The company’s Bombardier Global 7500, part of Vista’s floating fleet of over 270 aircraft, offers unparalleled ultra-long-range capability — while Challenger 350s handle frequent intra-European trips such as Budapest–Frankfurt, Budapest–Zurich, and Budapest–Istanbul.

Central Europe’s private aviation momentum

According to WingX data, private jet activity in Central Europe increased by 9% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, led by a surge in corporate travel and capital market activity. Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport has also seen increased private aviation traffic, with improved infrastructure and FBO services contributing to its rise as a regional business aviation gateway.

VistaJet’s unique floating fleet model — offering availability within 24 hours, globally — is increasingly attractive to Hungary’s fast-scaling firms and internationally connected investors.

Membership growth in Eastern Europe

VistaJet has seen strong demand across the European region. Program membership in Europe grew by 16% and saw a 39% increase in total hours sold in the first half of 2025, with Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic among the fastest-growing markets.

“Business leaders in Hungary are not just optimizing for convenience — they’re optimizing for scale, The ability to reach partners, investors, and customers globally in a matter of hours is a strategic asset — and VistaJet is the only provider that can deliver this at scale, without the downsides of jet ownership”

Michelle Rosa-Wolfe, Executive Vice President for Eastern Europe at VistaJet

Supporting sustainability and local partnerships

In Budapest, VistaJet highlighted its ongoing investment in sustainable aviation, including the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), high-efficiency fleet utilization, and transparent carbon reporting. The company has also committed to expanding partnerships with Hungarian suppliers for catering, ground handling, and event services as part of its local economic contribution.

With aircraft flying on average 890 hours annually — more than triple the industry average — VistaJet minimizes repositioning flights and maximizes efficiency and better resource use.

“Hungary’s innovation economy is booming, VistaJet is here to support its leaders with the access, agility, and sustainability they need to thrive globally.”
