VistaJet strengthens support for Saudi Arabia’s west coast growth with Jeddah Global 7500 showcase

The company underscored surging western Saudi demand during the exclusive event

VistaJet, the first and only truly global business aviation company and part of the Vista group, reaffirmed its deep commitment to Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing west coast with an exclusive media and stakeholder showcase held at Jet Aviation Jeddah at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

The event marks the latest step in VistaJet’s expanding presence in the Kingdom, following the August 2025 landmark approval from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to operate domestic flights — making it the first foreign operator authorized to fly internally within Saudi Arabia.

VistaJet has served Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years — longer than any other international operator — and the Kingdom remains a significant market for the company. Across the country, demand continues to rise. During the first half of 2025, VistaJet recorded a 32% year-on-year increase in Program Members, reflecting growing interest in both domestic and international flying solutions for both local and interational clients. Within this broader national momentum, Jeddah showed significant strong performance, recording a 37% increase in hours flown on VistaJet aircraft in Q3 2025. This growth was supported by expanding west-coast tourism, increased investor travel, and a steady flow of international family journeys.

The event brought together senior government representatives, aviation partners, and leading Jeddah-based media for an insider view of VistaJet’s flagship Bombardier Global 7500 — the world’s fastest and longest-range purpose-built business jet, and part of Vista’s market-leading global fleet. The aircraft’s ultra-long-range capabilities, enabling non-stop connections from Jeddah to major centres across Europe, Asia, and the US, were highlighted as essential for clients supporting the development of The Red Sea, AlUla, and Jeddah Central, and for the growing number of international investors travelling through the west coast.

Hosted by Mazen Obaid, President – Middle East at Vista, the showcase centred on VistaJet’s continued growth in Saudi Arabia and the company’s alignment with the Kingdom’s aviation transformation. Jeddah-born Obaid noted that the western region has become one of VistaJet’s most strategically significant markets, with demand rising across corporates, ultra-high-net-worth families, government entities, and international private investors. This aligns with major infrastructure developments and the long-term vision behind the King Abdulaziz International Airport master plan, which will make west-coast connectivity even more central to national and regional mobility.

During the event, guests were given a private tour of the Global 7500, experiencing VistaJet’s design philosophy, service standards, and global fleet capability across more than 270 aircraft, of which 90 are available to fly within the Kingdom — including the world’s largest international fleet of Global 7500s and soon, next-generation Global 8000 jets. VistaJet reiterated its close collaboration with GACA and its alignment with the Kingdom’s aviation ambitions, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding its operational presence, investing locally, and hiring Saudi talent as part of its long-term partnership with the Kingdom.

“Jeddah has always been a gateway between Saudi Arabia and the world, and as someone originally from this city, I recognise the scale of its transformation today. With major developments reshaping the west coast, VistaJet is committed to supporting this new era of connectivity with world-class service, long-range capability, and sustained investment. Our growth here reflects the rising needs of governments, families, corporates, and global investors who rely on seamless access to international markets — and we are proud to help enable that.”

VistaJet’s strengthened position in the Kingdom forms part of VistaJet’s broader strategy to deepen its presence across the Middle East, as demand for premium, global, on demand private aviation continues to grow in line with the region’s economic transformation and expanding international connectivity.
