VistaJet expands Eastern Europe roadshow with key stop in Prague, Czech Republic
VistaJet, the first and only global private aviation company and part of the Vista group, has completed the third stop of its 2025 Nordic and Eastern European roadshow in Prague, hosting an exclusive event for clients, media, and business leaders. The visit showcased the Czech Republic’s increasingly central role in European trade, investment, and innovation — and how VistaJet’s global fleet and subscription-based model are enabling that momentum.
Following successful stops in Stockholm and Budapest, the Prague event further demonstrated how private aviation is no longer a luxury — but a strategic asset for ambitious enterprises and global investors.
Czech business: local strength, international ambition
The Czech Republic is one of Central Europe’s most open economies, with exports making up over 70% of GDP. Sectors such as automotive, aerospace, engineering, and software development are seeing sustained foreign investment, while local businesses are increasingly expanding operations into Western Europe, North America, and Asia.
“Czech companies are scaling faster, partnering internationally, and deploying capital across borders, What they need is fast, flexible, and global access — and that’s exactly what VistaJet provides. Our Program membership offers guaranteed availability of the right aircraft, worldwide, with no ownership required. ”
Mats Leander, VistaJet’s President of the Nordics and Eastern Europe
Prague: a rising hub for private aviation
Private aviation activity at Václav Havel Airport Prague is growing steadily, driven by increased executive travel and new wealth creation. According to WingX, private jet departures from the Czech Republic rose 8% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, reflecting a broader CEE trend toward agile and flexible air mobility.
With a global floating fleet of over 270 aircraft, VistaJet offers Czech clients non-stop access to financial centers such as Zurich, Dubai, Singapore, and New York on board its flagship aircraft the Global 7500 –– with the largest international fleet of these ultra-long range jets. While shorter-haul routes — like Prague–London or Prague–Amsterdam — are served efficiently by the Challenger 350 and other super-midsize jets.
“Executives here are clear: they don’t want the responsibility of owning a jet, but they need reliable access to one — anytime, anywhere, What they need is fast, flexible, and global access — and that’s exactly what VistaJet provides. Our Program membership offers guaranteed availability of the right aircraft, worldwide, with no ownership required.”
Michelle Rosa-Wolfe, Executive Vice President of Eastern Europe at VistaJet
Membership demand rising across the CEE region
VistaJet reported a 16% increase in Program membership, and a 39% rise in total hours sold, across Europe in the first half of 2025, with the Czech Republic showing particularly strong interest among mid-sized companies, family offices, and venture investors managing increasingly international portfolios.
The company’s ownership-free model is resonating with a new generation of Czech entrepreneurs who value efficiency, financial flexibility, and environmental accountability.
A sustainable model for future growth
VistaJet also used the Prague stop to spotlight its long-standing commitment to sustainability in aviation. The company has been investing in:
- Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage across its operations
- A floating fleet model that minimizes repositioning flights
- Carbon offset programs with transparent emissions tracking
- An in-house sustainability team ensuring measurable progress
In 2024, VistaJet’s aircraft averaged 890 hours of annual utilization, compared to an industry average of less than 250 — dramatically improving efficiency.
The company is also engaging with Czech partners for event services, catering, and airport logistics — contributing to the local economy and fostering long-term business relationships.
“Prague is where tradition meets transformation, and VistaJet is here to support Czech businesses as they go global — providing access, agility, and accountability in every flight ”
Mats Leander, VistaJet’s President of the Nordics and Eastern Europe
Next Stops on the Roadshow
VistaJet’s 2025 Nordic and Eastern European roadshow will finalise in Warsaw, connecting with leaders from across sectors to discuss how private aviation is reshaping the way business moves across Europe and beyond.
