Firm order backlog now in excess of U.S. $1.3 billion

VistaJet, the world’s premier luxury aviation company with the largest wholly-owned commercial fleet outside the Americas, is substantially increasing the size of its fleet with firm orders for 18 new Bombardier business aircraft. The purchase takes VistaJet’s order backlog to over US$ 1.3 billion.

The aircraft orders, which comprise 12 ultra long range Global and Challenger aircraft as well as 6 LR60NG long-range aircraft, will increase VistaJet`s fleet size to in excess of 50 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin as of 2012.

VistaJet and Bombardier were in discussions for several months as Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman of VistaJet, made the strategic decision to focus on large, longer-range aircraft to build on the company’s leading position across BRINC* countries and fast-growth developing markets such as the Middle East, West Africa and Russia / CIS.

“Currently, 75% of our flights either originate in or go to the world`s fast-growth markets and fly sectors of between five to eight hours duration. To service rapidly growing demand, from some of the world‟s leading business and corporate players, we are building one of the world’s largest fleets of state-of-the-art long-range aircraft. The new aircraft order represents another milestone in VistaJet’s development and we are proud to be able to commit to delivery of the new fleet within a short time period, starting in 2012. VistaJet had a successful year in 2010, the result of our strategy to provide innovative and tailored solutions, centered on our passengers actual requirements, rather a perceived desire for abstract ownership, and by focusing on fast-growth economies in Africa, the Middle East, Russia, CIS and Asia where our outstanding levels of customer service are in high demand. Also, the simplicity of our business model has been a major contributor to our success.”

“We are delighted that VistaJet have again chosen to grow their fleet with Bombardier jets. This is a significant order for both our companies. VistaJet are trail-blazers in developing new markets where our aircraft are ideally suited to meet the demanding needs of both carrier and passenger alike. Our business jets are designed, built and equipped to provide the ultimate in comfort and productivity for passengers who fly in them and are backed by a worldwide service and support network to ensure that operators and passengers alike benefit from reliability that is second to none”
