New Carbon Offsetting Milestone
VistaJet is pleased to announce that is has recently retired an additional 920,815 certified carbon offsets on behalf of its clients, bringing the total volume of offsets retired by the end of November 2025 to 3,140,000 tons of CO2 equivalent.
In parallel with this continued use of verified offsets to compensate for hard-to-abate emissions, VistaJet also continues to expand its use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel. These initiatives from part of VistaJet’s broader, long-term strategy to reduce the carbon intensity of its operations.
The Agrotex, South Amazon Forest Protection project is a new addition to VistaJet’s offsetting portfolio. The Verified Carbon Standard and Social Carbon Standard project aims to protect the abundantly biodiverse South Amazon from deforestation under a certified Forest Stewardship Council (SFMP) sustainable forest management plan. The project protects a vast swathe of the Southwestern Amazon from deforestation by maintaining carbon stocks, ensuring sustainable timber harvests and increasing forest surveillance.
